About The Position

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols. This is a full-time position in Crystal Lake, Illinois, paying $21.00 per hour, with first- and second-shift schedules and weekend availability needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
