About the position

The role involves ensuring on-time delivery of new API endpoints, maintaining and evolving existing API functionalities, delivering quality code, taking ownership of micro-services, contributing to infrastructure and automation tools, collaborating with teammates, and mentoring less experienced colleagues. The ideal candidate should have experience with Java or other JVM languages, be open to learning Ruby, have proficiency in AWS and infrastructure as code, and be familiar with agile methodologies. Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time delivery of new API endpoints
- Maintain and evolve existing API functionalities
- Deliver quality code in an efficient manner
- Take end-to-end ownership of our fleet of micro-services
- Contribute to our infrastructure and automation tools
- Collaborate with fellow engineers and product owners
- Mentor teammates with less experience than you
- Be open to learning Ruby and contributing to our Ruby microservices
- Have proven multi-year experience with Java or other JVM languages
- Have profound experience with AWS and with infrastructure as code

Requirements
- Proven multi-year experience with Java or other JVM languages, e.g. Scala, Kotlin
- Openness to learning Ruby and contributing to Ruby microservices
- Profound experience with AWS and infrastructure as code
