About The Position

Closet Factory is hiring a Production Woodworking Associate for its Indianapolis, Indiana factory team. The role helps manufacture and assemble custom closet and home organization systems to precise design specifications. Associates work with traditional tools and equipment such as a sliding table saw, edge bander, and other boring equipment. All experience levels are welcome, and comprehensive training is provided. The position is full-time, with 40+ hours per week, and pays $17–$22 per hour depending on experience and skill level.

Nice To Haves

• Prior woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing/factory experience; experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and prepare custom wood and melamine components to exact specifications.
• Operate and assist with production machinery, including a sliding table saw, edge bander, and other boring equipment.
• Assemble components and collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished pieces meet design and craftsmanship standards.
• Follow safety protocols for equipment operation and material handling.
• Keep the production floor organized and maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness.
• Assist with moving materials between workstations as needed.
• Train and work with the commercial sliding table saw to cut material to fit.
