About The Position

The Production Manager is responsible for meeting manufacturing profit and loss goals and directing production and sanitation activities. The role ensures product quality and compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations. It involves frequent interaction with the work group and other departments at the primary work location, as well as demonstrating competency in activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality. The position also directs employees in meeting quality and regulatory standards and maintaining a safe, pleasant working environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
Completion of the AIB Master Baker program.
Completion of formal management skills training.
More than 7 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct production and sanitation activities.
Meet manufacturing profit and loss goals.
Ensure product quality and adherence to applicable standards.
Direct subordinates in meeting quality and regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, and AIB requirements.
Maintain a pleasant and safe working environment for employees and contract workers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Direct subordinates in daily production activities and demands.
Set production goals for subordinates.
Review and approve purchases and expenditures, and assist with capital project requests.
Order, receive, and store supplies.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to EEO, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Fulfill work schedules and adhere to attendance policies.
Perform other duties deemed integral to the job by management.
