About The Position

The Production Manager is responsible for meeting manufacturing profit and loss goals and directing and managing all production and sanitation activities. The role ensures product quality and compliance with applicable standards and requires ongoing interaction with the work group and other departments at the primary work location. The position requires competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality.

Requirements

More than 7 years of experience required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
Completion of the AIB Master Baker program.
Completion of formal management skills training.

Responsibilities

Direct subordinates in meeting quality and regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, and AIB requirements.
Maintain a pleasant and safe working environment for employees and contract workers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Direct subordinates in daily production activities and demands.
Set production goals for subordinates.
Review and approve purchases and expenditures, and assist with capital project requests.
Order, receive, and store supplies.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to EEO, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Fulfill work schedules, adhere to attendance policies, and perform other duties management deems integral to the job.
