About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Production Associate for a food manufacturing and distribution center in Coppell, Texas. The role pays $18.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday on the third shift, from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. Availability for occasional Saturday overtime is required. Recent food manufacturing experience, including packing and seasoning products, and previous third-shift food manufacturing or warehouse experience are required. Restaurant experience alone does not qualify.

The Production Associate operates and monitors production machinery and line equipment, feeds raw materials into machinery, assembles and packages products, and performs basic quality checks. The role also includes storing materials and finished goods, following production and safety procedures, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• Recent food manufacturing experience.
• Food manufacturing experience packing and seasoning products.
• Previous third-shift experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background check; no misdemeanors or felonies.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for 8 or more hours per day.
• Good physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Availability for occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities
