About The Position

Skechers is hiring a part-time Product Specialist, also known as a Sales Associate, for an entry-level retail role. The position focuses on helping customers find suitable Skechers products, delivering excellent service, contributing to sales goals, and supporting day-to-day store operations. Associates handle merchandise and cashier duties, maintain product knowledge, and work with the store team to create an inviting environment that meets Skechers standards. The starting pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The role includes flexible scheduling and on-the-job training, with potential for growth within Skechers.

Requirements

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide personalized advice about Skechers products.
• Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise.
• Lift and carry shoes and boxes as needed, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and remain on feet throughout most of the shift.
• Process customer payments accurately and handle cashier responsibilities.
• Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories, and share product details with customers.
• Collaborate with other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects the Skechers brand and meets company standards.
