About The Position

Skechers is hiring a part-time Sales Associate, also known as a Product Specialist, for an entry-level retail role. The position focuses on helping customers find suitable Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories while delivering exceptional service and contributing to store sales goals. Associates also support store operations, process customer payments, maintain product knowledge, and collaborate with the team to create an inviting store environment. The starting pay rate is $17.00 per hour. A flexible schedule and on-the-job training are offered, with potential for growth within Skechers.

Requirements

• Eager to deliver high-quality customer service in an entry-level retail role.
• Driven to meet and exceed retail sales goals.
• Reliable and detail-oriented, and comfortable with cashier responsibilities.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Enthusiasm for representing the Skechers brand with energy and a sense of urgency.
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide personalized advice about Skechers products.
• Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise to keep the store looking its best.
• Lift and carry shoes and boxes, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and remain on their feet throughout most of the shift.
• Process customer payments accurately and perform cashier duties.
• Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories and share product details with customers.
• Collaborate with other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects Skechers’ brand and company standards.
