About The Position

As a Sales Associate, known as a Product Specialist, at Skechers, you will work in an entry-level retail role focused on customer connections, sales, and representing the Skechers brand. You will engage with customers, provide personalized product advice, support store and individual sales goals, and help maintain an inviting, well-organized store. The role includes cashier duties, learning about Skechers products, and collaborating with store employees. The starting rate is $15.00. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Be eager to provide high-quality customer service in an entry-level retail role.
• Be driven to meet and exceed retail sales goals.
• Be reliable and detail-oriented, and comfortable with cashier responsibilities.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability.
• Represent the Skechers brand with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide personalized advice on Skechers products.
• Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise to keep the store presentable.
• Lift and carry shoes and boxes, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and remain on your feet for most of the shift.
• Process customer payments accurately and handle cashier responsibilities.
• Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories and share product information with customers.
• Collaborate with other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects Skechers brand and company standards.
