About The Position

Datacor is seeking a detail-oriented product marketing professional to own marketing for its current and upcoming ERP platforms, including integrated MES, WMS, and CRM offerings. The role develops and delivers positioning, messaging, content, and campaign materials that present the ERP as a connected platform and explain the advantages of native applications over standalone point solutions to prospects and existing customers. The role will also contribute to go-to-market work for AI products as the portfolio grows. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role, partnering closely with the VP Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Demand Generation. The successful candidate will turn product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for process manufacturers, produce high-quality work directly, and may grow the scope of the role over time.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in product marketing strategy and execution.
  • Experience marketing an ERP or platform suite with add-on solutions, positioning integrated capabilities against best-of-breed point solutions, and messaging products still in development.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in day-to-day marketing work, with a record of applying AI to improve output and quality.
  • Hands-on experience building and executing marketing campaigns in a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot, and creating content for social and digital channels.
  • Experience working day to day with a demand generation counterpart and translating messaging into assets used in live campaigns.
  • Comfort presenting and delivering content at webinars, conferences, or user events.
  • Results-driven approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to independently manage complex, overlapping workstreams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including crafting compelling, differentiated narratives for technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with tools such as HubSpot, Canva, Salesforce, or similar marketing/product technology stacks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B technology or vertical SaaS.
  • Experience marketing to chemical or process manufacturing industries, or to ERP buyers specifically.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute go-to-market plans for launches, releases, and updates across current and upcoming ERP platforms and their integrated MES, WMS, and CRM solutions.
  • Create launch materials, including product copy, webinar content, email campaign copy, sales launch decks, product videos, and social content.
  • Maintain differentiated messaging that clarifies current offerings, available capabilities, and the product roadmap.
  • Plan webinar and user-meeting content, including agendas and presentations, and deliver product-focused sessions on stage or on camera.
  • Contribute messaging and content to AI product launches as the portfolio evolves.
  • Develop messaging and content for ERP customer adoption and expansion, including migration, upsell, and attach campaigns.
  • Partner with Demand Generation to translate positioning and messaging into campaign themes, content, copy, and product direction; review market response and adjust messaging and content.
  • Provide input on customer segmentation and lifecycle messaging across new-logo, renewal, and expansion stages.
  • Develop positioning for the ERP platform and integrated MES, WMS, and CRM solutions, distinguishing current capabilities from roadmap and articulating the benefits of a unified platform over best-of-breed alternatives.
  • Create sales sheets, website copy, blog content, customer stories, explainer videos, pitch decks, and competitive comparisons.
  • Ensure consistency and brand compliance across ERP-related content and identify positioning gaps or inconsistencies across products.
  • Build and maintain sales battlecards, competitive intelligence briefs, and objection-handling guides, including comparisons with standalone MES, WMS, and CRM vendors.
  • Coordinate and plan Sales enablement sessions with Product Management.
  • Maintain a proof-point library of case studies, ROI data, and customer references, including evidence of integrated-solution value.
  • Conduct win/loss interviews, monitor competitive activity, and compile findings into actionable briefs.
  • Partner with the VP Marketing and Product to surface customer and market insights that inform positioning and prioritization.
