Product Marketing Lead

Hadrian Automation•Torrance, CA
•$210,000 - $250,000

About The Position

Hadrian is hiring its first product marketer to shape how the market understands the company’s offerings and their impact. The role partners closely with Brand, Federal, Sales, Recruiting, and company leadership, and offers the opportunity to build the product marketing function from the ground up. The Product Marketing Lead will define positioning and go-to-market narratives for Hadrian’s offerings, developing a deep understanding of the technology through work with engineers and customers. The role translates technical differentiation into mission impact, creates clear and credible content, and connects positioning to evidence of customer outcomes in schedule, quality, and throughput. It also equips teams with narratives, competitive positioning, and product demos; runs win/loss reviews with Sales; and shares findings with Product. The successful candidate will help build the team by hiring specialists and developing a network of design, video, and writing contractors.

Requirements

  • Experience defining positioning and go-to-market for technically complex products; the posting says this is typically 8+ years, but emphasizes ownership over tenure.
  • Ability to learn complex systems quickly and turn them into clear, credible narratives.
  • Ability to provide technical explanations trusted by engineers, including customer engineers.
  • Everyday use of AI to accelerate research, writing, design, and production, with an example of a workflow rebuilt using AI and its impact.
  • High-agency builder who has been first or early in a function and built what was missing without waiting for a brief.
  • A portfolio of work personally created, with the ability to describe which parts were the candidate’s own.
  • Motivation by Hadrian’s mission and pace of work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, robotics, or industrial hardware, including selling to government customers or large primes.

  • Track record of content and positioning tied to business outcomes such as pipeline, closed deals, or hires.
  • Video editing, motion design, or 3D skills.
  • Experience hiring contractors and growing a team around one’s work.
