Product Manager, Patient Access & Fulfilment

Junction
•$190,000 - $240,000•Remote

About The Position

Junction is hiring a Product Manager to own patient access and fulfilment: the journey from a lab test order to a correctly collected sample arriving at the right laboratory. This work spans patient scheduling and reminders, collection options, kits and supplies, sample transport and routing, and the network of collection sites, phlebotomists, and couriers. The role focuses on reducing missed and improperly collected samples, expanding testing options—including mobile phlebotomy and at-home kits—and making the patient experience reliable as testing volume grows. The Product Manager will report to the Head of Product and work closely with engineering from discovery through launch, as well as with Lab Operations, Product Operations, and teams including GTM, Success, Support, and Operations. The role also contributes to developing Junction’s product practices, planning, writing, customer engagement, and success measurement. It is a hands-on senior builder role with evolving scope, not a people-management position.

Requirements

  • Consumer product experience, ideally involving a physical product or real-world activity such as at-home testing, pharmacy, or delivery.
  • Experience designing patient experiences that help people complete important actions, with an understanding of where and why funnels lose users.
  • Startup product management experience owning an area end-to-end at an early-stage company, such as Series A–C or equivalent; founding or early PM experience is ideal.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare incentives, economics, and relationships among providers, payers, and patients, including the ability to build products within the realities of the system.
  • Experience building complex B2B2C products with third-party dependencies and regulated constraints while keeping the product simple for users.
  • Technical fluency, including the ability to write SQL and read API documentation, and to work effectively with engineers; coding is not required.
  • Customer-obsessed approach and comfort speaking with users and customers.
  • Strong judgment and clear written and verbal communication with engineers, customers, and vendors.

  • Experience with a physical consumer product such as at-home testing, pharmacy, or delivery.

  • Expand patient testing options by launching collection partners, including mobile phlebotomy and at-home kits, and prioritizing coverage and experience.
  • Make decisions with incomplete information and identify decisions that require broader discussion.
  • Turn customer feedback, production issues, vendor behavior, and support escalations into product roadmap improvements.
  • Partner with Product Operations on launches to prepare GTM, Success, Support, and Operations.
  • Help develop Junction’s product function, including planning, writing, customer engagement, and measuring success.
