About The Position

Responsible for the implementation, assessment, and configuration of credit-related systems to support business line technical and business analysis needs. This role involves researching and assessing business line process re-engineering opportunities, and planning to implement configurations and workflows to solve complex problems and streamline diverse workflows. The position also focuses on creating meaningful reports to support Credit Risk Management.

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • Major or area of specialization: Information Systems, Finance or Business.
  • Requires five to ten years of general business experience.
  • Requires five years to ten years specialized experience to include merger and acquisition experience and experience with Salesforce.
  • Expert usage of Business Object (BIC Business Intelligence Center), data mining and reporting software or equivalent technical or data analysis software is required.
  • Credit Administration experience.
  • Operates a keypad device: 70% of the day.
  • Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with all S&T employees and adheres to S&T’s culture.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior management (CCO, CFO, CRO, CCBO, etc.) for design, implementation, and management to create data mining, forecasting and trending models and other reporting mechanisms for measuring and monitoring the bank’s credit risk data needs.
  • Assess business process re-engineering opportunities, including analysis and design of workflows and business processes within Credit Admin to improve efficiencies, customer service, and cut operational costs. Evaluate business line needs and develop configurations and workflows that support that business process.
  • Provide support for independent business analysis and credit-related projects, including research, development, and analytics output for advanced industry and portfolio analytics. Provide division support for credit-related large-scale projects managed by the PMO and Credit Administration.
  • Support the analysis, development, and ongoing support of the bank’s data analytics and reporting needs. Assist in analyzing data sets to draw business insights and communicate results to users within the organization, including business lines, middle, and executive management. Maintain data integrity, especially for outputs impacting financial reporting.
  • Serve the Credit Admin Business Line as a Project Manager for smaller-scale Credit-related projects and/or a work stream member for larger managed projects, following the department’s project methodology, documentation standards, and change management requirements. Obtain continued project management guidance from the PMO and Credit Systems Administration Manager as a certified Project Manager.
  • Understand policies and processes in Credit Administration to research Credit Risk Management fundamentals and industry best practices. Generate management information reports for all levels of management and benchmark findings against appropriate industry resources, as well as assess and make recommendations for best practices with associated processes.
  • Aid in scoping projects and implementations. Define and execute delivery and implementation project plans and/or develop test plans. Test and troubleshoot system setups and final system setups. Provide training and end-user support during the implementation process.
  • Develop, document, and deliver data analysis and reporting for Credit Systems, including nCino, Salesforce, and/or other Credit Systems. Data delivery may be in the form of reports, charts, graphs, or tables.
  • Provide comprehensive operational, analytical, and technical support for reporting and data analysis during projects, system implementations, and ongoing support post-go-live.
  • Transfer knowledge and workflow processes to Systems Administrators or end users and assist in their training for transition from implementation to post Go – Live Support.
  • Ensure appropriate validation and controls are used to maintain data integrity. Ensure data integrity through testing and validation for data completeness and accuracy associated with business line process key internal controls for SOX-related Credit Systems. Ensure data import/export files meet requirements and are considered an End User Computing Tool, maintaining compliance with SOX Entity level control #29 (EUCT).
  • Ensure all managed projects are properly approved and documented as they progress, following the department’s project methodology, documentation standards, change management requirements, and risk assessments as outlined in department procedures. Guide and adhere to all associated corporate policies.
  • Obtain and maintain a strong working knowledge of SOX and GLBA compliance and regulatory requirements necessary to Credit (e.g., corporate policies, GAAP, Regulation O, Excess of Supervisory Limits, etc.) through research, educational opportunities, and system administration.
  • Implement system/software changes post go-live. Test system/software changes to validate changes, working in conjunction with system users for assistance. Create and maintain documentation for system/software change management to specified audit requirements.
  • Create reports and/or dashboards as needed using nCino, Salesforce, or advanced analytical software programs, including BIC/Webi, Excel, Access, Monarch, and other specialized Credit System Reporting Tools.
  • Interface with internal audit, external auditing consultants, and regulatory agencies concerning the software being implemented. Act as a subject matter expert for nCino and/or Salesforce or other Credit-related systems during walkthroughs, annual SOX reviews, and audit meetings, providing appropriate and up-to-date documentation as requested.
  • Participate and attend onsite User Groups/Conferences/Ongoing Training Opportunities for Credit Systems.
  • Maintain certifications, as applicable, associated with nCino, Salesforce, technology, or the Credit Industry and continue to expand knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.
  • Exhibit advanced writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
