About The Position

PrismHR is seeking a Product Analyst to support the growth and modernization of its ExecuPay platform as part of the Shared Technology and Product Management team. The role complements Product Managers and Designers by ensuring Engineering has the detail it needs to execute successfully. It combines responsibilities commonly associated with Business Analyst and Product Owner roles, and focuses on clarifying what needs to be built and why so delivery teams can determine how to build it. The Product Analyst supports Product Managers with product coverage and tactical work, partnering across Product, UX, Engineering, QA, Technical Documentation, Support, and Professional Services. The role develops requirements and maintains a prioritized backlog, contributes to discovery and market research, leads User Acceptance Testing, and supports cross-team coordination. PrismHR uses AI tools to draft requirements, analyze feedback and research, and build prototypes; the analyst is expected to review AI output for accuracy and exercise sound product judgment, particularly when handling sensitive employee and payroll data.

  • In-depth knowledge of complex Payroll and HR concepts and challenges faced by service bureaus and SMBs.

  • Experience with HR platforms and core functionality, including Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Time and Attendance, Compliance & Tax Management, and Reporting.
  • Ability to read API documentation and JSON payloads.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to draft requirements, synthesize research, or build prototypes, and judgment to identify and correct inaccurate output.
  • Understanding of how to handle sensitive employee and payroll data, including PII, Social Security Numbers, and compensation data, and use approved enterprise AI tools.
  • Ability to become a product expert while remaining flexible and responsive to evolving business and team needs.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and strong understanding of Agile practices, processes, and methodologies.
  • Ability to organize and facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog grooming sessions, sprint reviews, and demos.
  • Grit, initiative, and an execution-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for product management, product craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
  • Curiosity and commitment to ongoing improvement and professional growth.
