About The Position

The Processor checks in and processes different media formats for different libraries and prepares products for shipping. The role involves removing cellophane from DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks; transferring discs into new cases when needed; replacing cover art; and applying overlays and stickers. Processors verify that completed products meet specifications in work instructions and meet established production standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented.
• Able to file alphabetically.
• Able to work independently.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as policies and operating manuals.
• Organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Able to work the 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule and overtime as required.
• Able to walk or stand frequently for long periods and sit regularly for extended periods.
• Able to occasionally bend, twist, stoop, and crouch.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Able to use a sharp utility spatula (razor blade).
• Able to work in a team environment and perform repetitive functions.

• One year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
