About The Position

The Backroom Processor helps deliver a highly satisfactory customer experience by engaging with customers, upholding customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities also include accurately processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to store safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
