About The Position

The Processing Worker II sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. The role accepts and safeguards donations, supports the sales floor as needed, and provides excellent customer service to donors and customers. It also helps maintain clean, safe, and organized processing and donation areas and assists with truck loading and unloading. The position may guide ambassadors in production and donation procedures and complete daily assignments and paperwork.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of entry-level supervisory experience; or at least 6 months of relevant retail or used-goods experience and completion and demonstration of competencies of Leader Step 1 in the career pathway.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise, including famous brand names, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, price, and tally donations for the sales floor.
• Push racks and carts to the retail floor, stock the floor, and pull merchandise.
• Open and close the donations area.
• Accept and safeguard donations and keep processing and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist truck helpers and drivers with loading and unloading trucks.
• Guide ambassadors in production and donation procedures.
• Complete the Daily Assignment log and coordinate breaks and meals with management to ensure adequate coverage.
• Help collect production and donation paperwork throughout the day.
• Price products for customers or staff when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
