Multichannel Processing Worker
About The Position
This is a production position in a fast-paced retail store environment. The Multichannel Processing Worker is responsible for advanced processing of donations for online sale, including data entry, cell phone photography, stocking, picking, and customer service. The role may also involve accepting and processing donations for the sales floor, assisting at the register, and performing other sales floor tasks. The position supports Goodwill’s mission of reselling donated goods to fund job-readiness training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. The role requires maintaining accurate online listings and inventory, following marketplace guidelines and applicable policies and laws, and keeping work and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
- Use appropriate keywords in auction titles, take clear and representative photographs, and include relevant item information and condition details in auction descriptions.
- Accurately inventory, pick, and prepare outgoing multichannel products according to guidelines.
- Provide quality control for multichannel products and ensure posted items follow marketplace guidelines, GISD policies and procedures, and state and federal laws.
- Work with management to identify and resolve multichannel processing, listing, inventory, and customer service issues.
- Attend trainings and meetings, run multichannel reports, and share relevant information during team huddles as directed by management.
- Support management in training team members on multichannel processing basics and identifying donations suited for online sale.
- Properly use and maintain multichannel equipment, and promptly report supply or other needs.
- Meet multichannel production requirements and keep pace with the average worker on the team when assigned other tasks.
- Safeguard donations and company property, and keep workstations, sales floor, processing, and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist in different store areas as assigned, provide excellent customer service to customers and donors, and refer concerns or complaints to management.
