Pro Shop Associate
About The Position
The Pro Shop Associate helps ensure the pro shop operates efficiently and enhances guests’ golfing experience by providing a high level of customer service. The role supports daily pro shop operations, including opening or closing, updating tee sheets, assisting with tournament administration and merchandising, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning. The position has no supervisory or management authority. Work is typically performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. The role requires frequent standing and walking and the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma and one year of cash-handling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the game of golf.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with guests and vendors.
- Maintain a close working relationship with management and co-workers.
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Open and/or close the pro shop daily.
- Assist with running daily pro shop operations.
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service to all guests.
- Update daily tee sheets.
- Assist golf professionals with tournament administration.
- Assist with pro shop merchandising.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the pro shop.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
