Private Soccer Coach
About The Position
Dribbler Soccer is seeking professional and experienced private soccer trainers to conduct lessons for players of all ages. Trainers travel to local parks, soccer fields, or clients’ locations in their area. Dribbler provides client opportunities, while trainers can choose which offers to accept and set their own schedules and travel radius. Trainers conduct private and group lessons, create individualized lesson plans, assess players’ skills and progress, and provide an enjoyable and safe learning experience. They supply their own training equipment and communicate with players, parents, clients, or caregivers about progress. Payments are issued within 24 hours after a lesson, and Dribbler adds trainers to its general liability insurance policy at no cost. The hiring process may allow trainers to start within 24–48 hours after the interview, depending on onboarding completion.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience coaching or training soccer players of any age.
- Reliable transportation to travel to training locations.
- Complete and clear a criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with players and clients.
- An energetic and engaging personality, especially when working with children and teens.
- Confidence working independently while delivering high-quality training.
- Ability to provide personal soccer training equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct private one-on-one and group soccer lessons.
- Schedule lessons flexibly to suit trainer and client availability.
- Travel safely to and from clients’ preferred training locations.
- Create custom lesson plans tailored to each player’s abilities and goals.
- Assess players’ skills, track progress, and adapt lessons to their needs.
- Provide the equipment needed for lessons.
- Deliver a comprehensive, enjoyable, and engaging learning experience.
- Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions.
- Communicate effectively with parents, clients, or caregivers about player progress.
