Private Soccer Coach
About The Position
Dribbler Soccer is hiring experienced private soccer trainers to provide personalized lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Trainers work in their local communities and neighboring cities, traveling to parks, soccer fields, or clients’ preferred locations. Dribbler provides client opportunities, while trainers can choose which offers to accept or decline and set their own schedules and travel radius. Trainers design and deliver tailored soccer training, assess players’ skills and progress, and adapt lessons to meet individual goals. The role includes one-on-one and group lessons, effective communication with players and clients, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable learning experience. Trainers provide their own soccer equipment and reliable transportation. Payments are issued within 24 hours after lessons, and Dribbler adds trainers to its general liability insurance policy at no cost. The advertised rate is $35–$50 per one-hour lesson. The hiring process may allow trainers to start within 24–48 hours after an interview, depending on completion of onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience coaching or training soccer players of any age.
- Reliable transportation to training locations.
- Complete and pass a criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with players and clients.
- An energetic and engaging personality, especially when working with children and teens.
- Confidence working independently while delivering high-quality training.
- Ability to provide personal soccer training equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct private one-on-one and group soccer lessons.
- Schedule lessons flexibly based on trainer and client availability.
- Travel safely to and from clients’ preferred training locations.
- Create customized lesson plans based on each player’s abilities and goals.
- Assess players’ skills, track their progress, and adapt lessons to their needs.
- Provide the equipment needed for lessons.
- Deliver comprehensive, enjoyable, and engaging training experiences.
- Ensure player safety during training sessions.
- Communicate with parents, clients, or caregivers about player progress.
