About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty nursing care in a client’s home in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This case is for a 45-year-old male client with a PEG tube. Available shifts are all seven nights, with 10-hour night shifts. The agency is willing to train qualified and interested nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care as needed, with nursing supervisors providing instruction.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
