About The Position
The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one home healthcare. This case involves caring for a 15-year-old male with a tracheostomy and ventilator in Phoenix, Maryland. The available schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The agency is willing to train qualified, interested nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Nursing supervisors provide training and support. The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and has provided home care for adults and pediatric patients for more than 38 years. Compensation is $26–$42 per hour, with rates determined by licensure, skills, experience, and case. Employees receive time-and-a-half pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. Other offerings include weekly pay with direct deposit, a referral bonus program, and ongoing educational training.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Confidence working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
- Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
- Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one in the client's home.
- Complete nursing assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
- Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
