About The Position

The agency is hiring a compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one home healthcare for a 9-year-old male client with a G-tube in Pasadena, Maryland. The available schedule is every other Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The agency is willing to train qualified, interested candidates in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, with nursing supervisors providing instruction.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
