Private Duty Pediatric Nurse - Middle River, MD
About The Position
The agency is hiring a compassionate LPN or RN to provide one-on-one home healthcare to a 1-year-old client with a G-tube in Middle River, Maryland. Available shifts are 10-hour day shifts, three days per week. The agency is willing to train qualified nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care as needed, with nursing supervisors providing instruction. The agency provides home care to adult and pediatric patients and has been Joint Commission accredited for over thirty-eight years. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Confidence working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube or tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
- Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
- Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one in the client's home.
- Complete nursing assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
- Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
