About The Position

The agency is hiring a compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one home healthcare for a 35-year-old male client with a G-tube and tracheostomy in Rosedale, Maryland. The agency is willing to train qualified nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, with nursing supervisors available to provide instruction.

Available shifts are Monday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Friday 10 p.m.–6 a.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; and Sunday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with occasional Sunday 10 p.m.–6 a.m. shifts.

The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and has provided home care for adults and pediatric patients for over 38 years. Compensation is $26–$42 per hour, determined by licensure, skills, experience, and case. Employees receive time-and-a-half pay for work beyond 40 hours per week. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. Other offerings include weekly pay with direct deposit, a referral bonus program, and ongoing educational training.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; the agency is willing to train qualified, interested candidates.
• Ventilator experience; the agency is willing to train qualified candidates.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
