About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty home healthcare to a 37-year-old female client in Columbia, Maryland. The client has a G/J tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator. The available schedule is two days per week, 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The agency is willing to train qualified, interested nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, with nursing supervisors providing instruction.

The role involves providing one-on-one nursing care in the client’s home, assessing the client, administering prescribed medications and treatments according to the Plan of Care, and documenting nursing notes clearly and concisely. The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and provides home care to adult and pediatric patients.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
