Private Duty Nurse - Stevenson, MD
About The Position
The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty home nursing care to a 41-year-old male client in Stevenson, Maryland. The client has a G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator. Available shifts are Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The agency is willing to train qualified nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, with nursing supervisors providing instruction. The nurse works one-on-one in the client’s home, completes nursing assessments, administers medications and treatments as prescribed in the patient’s Plan of Care, and documents nursing notes clearly and concisely. Pay is $26–$42 per hour, determined by licensure, skills, experience, and case. Employees receive time-and-a-half pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment. The agency also offers weekly pay with direct deposit, a referral bonus program, and ongoing educational training.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or a multistate compact license as an LPN or RN.
- Have valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Be confident working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; training is available to qualified and interested candidates.
- Ventilator experience; training is available to qualified candidates.
- Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
