About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide private duty homecare to a teenager in Rome, Georgia. The patient has low acuity and uses a feeding tube. The scheduled shift is Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Nurses work together to provide compassionate care and achieve strong clinical outcomes. The patient’s home has a tablet for electronic documentation. Aveanna offers local support from operators and clinicians, career pathing, skill advancement opportunities, and paid training. Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where practicing.
• Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Have current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
• Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
• Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
