About The Position
Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide compassionate private-duty homecare to a teenage patient in Rome, Georgia. The patient has low acuity and uses a feeding tube. The scheduled shift is Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Nurses work with the care team to support strong clinical outcomes. Patient homes have tablets for electronic documentation, and nurses can access local operator and clinician support around the clock.
Requirements
- Maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where practicing.
- Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
- Hold current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna may assist with obtaining it after hire if necessary.
- Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
