About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an interest in adult and/or pediatric care to join its Hudson County nursing team. The role provides one-on-one care to clients in their homes, with clients ranging from infants to geriatric adults and across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. Nurses travel to one client’s home and work a schedule selected based on their availability. Private duty nursing offers traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and the opportunity to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.

The position includes paid training beginning on day one, delivered in the office, in the home, and online; practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs; and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Nurses use Statewise for electronic charting. Compensation is listed at $30–$35 per hour, or $35–$40 per hour for ongoing weekend shifts. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available. Scheduling is flexible with no minimums, and full-time, part-time, and per-diem arrangements are offered.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
