About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Hudson County nursing team. The role provides one-on-one care to a single client in the client’s home, with flexible scheduling based on the nurse’s availability and traditional shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. Clients may range in age from infant to geriatric and have varied diagnoses and acuity levels.

Nurses travel to a nearby client’s home, follow and carry out doctors’ orders, perform assessments, monitor client conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA provides paid training in the office, in the home, and online, access to adult and pediatric simulation labs, around-the-clock phone clinical support, and electronic charting using Statewise. Scheduling is flexible with no minimums; the posting lists full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, documented by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Passion for adult and/or pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on one-on-one care and build relationships with clients.
