Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN (Private Duty)
About The Position
BAYADA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to provide compassionate, high-quality, and reliable care to pediatric and adult clients in home and school settings. Nurses travel to one nearby client’s home and provide one-to-one care on a schedule they choose. BAYADA offers paid virtual and hands-on orientation, precepting shifts as needed before working independently, and additional paid training to help nurses feel comfortable and competent on their first shift. The position offers morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour lengths. PRN, part-time, and full-time hours are available, with no weekend or minimum-hours requirements. Requirements
- Current valid nursing license in the United States.
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
- Provide one-to-one care to clients in home or school settings.
