About The Position

The Print Production Facility Associate works in a dedicated Staples digital print facility, not in a retail store. The facility completes large print orders originating from stores and is typically not customer-facing. The associate produces and finishes large copy, print, and signage orders using high-volume digital print equipment. Training and cross-training in different facility functions are provided. Day or night shifts are available, and some schedules may be flexible. The position is full-time and offers growth opportunities, weekly pay, and paid time off.

Requirements

Attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
Experience managing many priorities.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, identify problems or missing information, and address them proactively.
Basic computer skills, such as sizing and printing documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a print environment.
Experience using and editing PDF files in a digital print manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Follow production workflows to produce high volumes of work.
Operate finishing equipment, including cutters, drills, and bindery equipment.
Prepare and troubleshoot file formats and convert files to print-ready PDFs.
Ensure work meets job-ticket specifications and customer quality expectations.
Use and care for equipment properly and comply with operating instructions and maintenance schedules.
Partner with the Production Facility Lead to process projects on time.
Perform other duties as assigned and potentially serve as a backup driver.
