About The Position

The Print Production Facility Associate works in a Staples digital print facility, not a retail store. The facility produces large print orders originating from stores, and the position is typically not customer-facing. The associate produces and finishes high-volume copy, print, and signage orders using digital print equipment. Training and cross-training in different facility functions are provided. This is a full-time role with weekend shifts; some openings may offer scheduling flexibility. The position may also serve as a backup driver.

Requirements

Attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
Experience managing many priorities.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, identify problems or missing information, and address them proactively.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to size and print documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a print environment.
Experience using and editing PDF files in a digital print manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Follow production workflows to produce a high volume of work.
Operate finishing equipment, including cutters, drills, and bindery equipment.
Prepare and troubleshoot file formats and convert files to print-ready PDFs.
Ensure work meets the job ticket specifications and customer quality expectations.
Use and care for equipment properly, following operating instructions and maintenance schedules.
Partner with the Production Facility Lead to process projects on time.
Perform other duties as assigned and potentially serve as a backup driver.
