About The Position

Infosys is hiring a Principal SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Consultant for its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit, which supports digital transformation across services, utilities, energy, and resources. The role serves as a subject matter expert for SAP Payroll, guiding solution design and implementation and leading hands-on configuration and deployment of Employee Central Payroll. The consultant works directly with clients on workshops, solution presentations, proofs of concept, and approvals; estimates solution efforts and owns delivery outcomes; and recommends innovative, SAP-standard best practices. The position involves analyzing complex business processes and requirements, defining solution architecture, guiding customizations and integrations, developing functional specifications and process documentation, and coordinating payroll integrations with other SAP modules such as Finance and HCM. The consultant leads unit, system integration, and regression testing and supports user acceptance testing, conducts implementation and training workshops for SAP power users, mentors junior consultants, and contributes to payroll competency development, strategic initiatives, proposals, and thought leadership. The role may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Expertise in ERP systems, architecture, and advanced customization techniques.
Ability to design complex integration solutions and guide large-scale data migrations.
Proactive problem-solving skills for streamlining complex requirements.
Strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business goals and market trends.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define and develop solution architecture, guiding customization and integration based on business analysis.
Design and implement advanced ERP customizations and collaborate with development teams on software applications.
Develop complex integration workflows connecting ERP systems with external applications and lead large-scale data migration strategies.
Implement performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience; lead compliance initiatives and audits.
Document complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops for different user groups.
Serve as the SAP Payroll subject matter expert and guide solution design and implementation.
Lead hands-on configuration and deployment of Employee Central Payroll.
Conduct client workshops, solution presentations, proofs of concept, and approval discussions.
Estimate effort for proposed solutions and own delivery outcomes.
Recommend best-practice solutions aligned with SAP standards.
Develop business process documentation and functional specifications.
Conduct implementation and training workshops for SAP power users.
