Principal Product Marketing Manager

Tekmetric•Houston, TX

About The Position

Tekmetric is hiring a high-ownership individual contributor to execute product marketing for an assigned product area. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, this role will conduct research, develop positioning and messaging, coordinate launches, enable customer-facing teams, and measure business outcomes. The Product Marketing function is being built as Tekmetric grows its cloud-based software platform for the automotive repair industry, including its shop management platform and add-on products such as payments and marketing. The role owns market validation and customer insights, including research with existing customers and prospective shops, messaging tests, and competitive analysis. It translates those insights into differentiated product positioning and messaging, and shares findings with Product and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. The role also owns go-to-market execution for its products, from launch planning and cross-functional coordination through post-launch measurement and iteration. It contributes buyer and competitive intelligence to pricing and packaging decisions, and creates practical enablement materials for Sales, Customer Success, Revenue, and Customer Enablement teams. Success is measured by business outcomes such as pipeline influence, win rates, adoption, and expansion—not simply by deliverables or launches completed. Tekmetric offers hybrid and remote work models based on proximity to office hubs. Travel is expected for every role, including several company and team offsites each year; attendance is expected and supported.
