About The Position

Capital One is hiring a Principal Associate to support key HR priorities for the Global Payment Network (GPN) HR Business Partner team. The role identifies and executes process improvements across the broader GPN HRBP teams and plans, monitors, and coordinates logistics for activities such as talent management and performance management. The position partners with program champions and business leaders to support people strategy and program execution.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of client-facing experience, consulting experience, or a combination.
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• Professional Human Resources Certification or Project Management Professional Certification, or a combination.
• 4 or more years of client-facing experience, consulting experience, or a combination.
• 4 or more years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.
• At least 1 year of experience in Project or Process Management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions to design and execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities.
• Develop walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to prepare managers and associates, including facilitator or train-the-trainer sessions as needed.
• Facilitate sessions and/or provide notes as needed.
• Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders describing the outcomes of talent conversations.
• Complete promotion and compensation changes in Workday.
• Provide feedback to the Chief of Staff team and Performance Management team to help continuously improve these programs.
