About The Position

Capital One’s Global Payment Network (GPN) HR Business Partner team is hiring a Principal Associate to support key HR priorities. The role identifies and executes process improvements across the broader GPN HR Business Partner teams and plans, monitors, and coordinates logistics for processes such as talent management and performance management. The position partners with Talent and Performance Management Champions to deliver annual activities and prepares communications, materials, and summaries to support managers, associates, and business leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of client-facing experience, consulting experience, or a combination of both.
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• Professional Human Resources Certification, Project Management Professional Certification, or a combination.
• 4 or more years of client-facing experience, consulting experience, or a combination of both.
• 4 or more years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.
• At least 1 year of experience in Project or Process Management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions to design and execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities.
• Develop walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to prepare managers and associates, including facilitating or supporting train-the-trainer sessions as needed.
• Facilitate sessions and/or provide notes as needed.
• Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders describing outcomes of talent conversations.
• Complete promotion and compensation changes in Workday.
• Provide feedback to the Chief of Staff team and Performance Management team to help continuously improve their programs.
• Identify and execute process improvement opportunities across the broader GPN HR Business Partner teams.
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate logistics for talent management and performance management processes.
