About The Position

Kamaʻāina Kids is hiring Preschool and Toddler Aides to support early childhood classrooms. This entry-level opportunity is intended for candidates who are interested in childcare and ready to learn and work toward PATCH qualification. The employer offers training, credentials, hands-on experience, and opportunities to grow into Teacher, Lead Teacher, and leadership positions. Aides help create safe, supportive classrooms where children feel excited to come each day. They engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, support their growth, build positive relationships, and help keep classrooms ready for learning. The position is full-time in the Kailua area, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The listed pay is $17–$18.50 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi or plan to relocate.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have a genuine interest in working with young children.
Demonstrate dependability, patience, and a willingness to learn.
Be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi or have plans to relocate.
For entry-level candidates without professional childcare experience, be able to work toward PATCH qualification.
