About The Position

The Premium Suites Food Runner serves guests in the suites and helps ensure they receive a high-quality dining experience through timely, accurate food service. The role requires a personable approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing live-event environment. The team member must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled according to business needs. This part-time position at Moody Center pays $13.00–$14.00 per hour and is tip eligible. The position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Ability to build relationships and enjoy working in a live-event-driven environment.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handling certificate and TABC certificate before working at Moody Center.
Ability to meet company standards for guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform standards.
Excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Assist with setup of food service areas within assigned suites.
Organize and prepare assigned locations for events.
Ensure equipment is operable and clean before events begin.
Monitor and maintain food quality.
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Follow company policies and procedures, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and promote a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Monitor inventory and communicate when stock is low.
Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
Maintain supplies guests may need in the suites throughout the event.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
