About The Position

This role involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a bar area with a focus on exceptional hospitality and personalized service to club members, VIP guests, suite holders, and premium clientele. The bartender will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails and mocktails, maintaining extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, and ensuring all beverages meet premium club standards. The position also requires adherence to liquor regulations, maintaining inventory, and performing general cleaning tasks to uphold health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Premium bartending techniques, including proper shaking, stirring, layering and garnishing methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail trends.
  • Utilize specialized bartending tools and equipment, including cocktail smokers, mixing glasses, strainers, muddlers, and premium bar tools.
  • Select and utilize the appropriate glassware for each beverage, including martini, rocks, wine, and coupe glasses along with champagne flutes and specialty cocktail vessels.
  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
  • Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.

  • Prepare high-quality cocktails, mocktails and spirit-forwarded beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Utilize Premium bartending techniques, including proper shaking, stirring, layering and garnishing methods.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail trends to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure all beverages meet premium club standards for taste, appearance, and presentation.
  • Utilize specialized bartending tools and equipment, including cocktail smokers, mixing glasses, strainers, muddlers, and premium bar tools.
  • Select and utilize the appropriate glassware for each beverage, including martini, rocks, wine, and coupe glasses along with champagne flutes and specialty cocktail vessels.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and supplies throughout events.
  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
  • Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
  • Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
  • Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
  • Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
  • Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
  • Washes and sterilizes stemware.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
