About The Position

The Clubs Premium Server takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. The role includes greeting guests, providing knowledgeable and courteous service, ensuring orders are delivered accurately, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment. Servers may support other departments during special events and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Promptly and warmly greet dining room guests and take food and beverage orders while following established steps of service.
Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up with guests about additional needs or requests.
Understand menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested, accommodate reasonable requests, and note preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated.
Communicate effectively and patiently with guests and staff, and work well with others.
Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests.
Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Set up the dining room before service and restore it afterward, keeping the area clean and meeting sanitation standards.
Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
