About The Position
The Clubs Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The role involves washing and sanitizing dishes and cookware, polishing silver, maintaining dish-area cleanliness and safety, and supporting supply handling and other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, such as a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
