About The Position

Thomson Reuters is building a senior advisory function for its most strategic law firm accounts. The Practice Innovation Advisor is a client-facing, peer advisory role at the intersection of AI strategy, technology transformation, and the business of law. The advisor engages senior firm leaders to help them assess how AI may change their organizations’ operations, competitive position, and delivery of value, and supports clients across the full relationship lifecycle, from pre-sale through post-sale. The role depends on deep experience from within the legal profession and focuses on executive relationships and strategic counsel rather than product demonstrations or adoption metrics. The advisor serves as a senior executive counselor to a portfolio of strategic law firm accounts and works alongside account executives and cross-functional client teams. The role also maintains a dotted-line relationship with the Product Organization to understand product roadmaps and launches, and brings executive-level feedback to Thomson Reuters product and business leaders. The advisor represents Thomson Reuters at senior legal industry forums, client roundtables, and executive events. Thomson Reuters describes its broader mission as providing trusted content and technology that help professionals make informed decisions and advance justice, truth, and transparency. The company has 26,000 employees across more than 70 countries. The position’s base compensation range for eligible US locations is $137,200–$254,800, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus based on enterprise and individual performance. The posting closes 12/31/2026.
