Practice Innovation Advisor- Corporates

Thomson Reuters•Frisco, TX
•$137,200 - $254,800

About The Position

Thomson Reuters is building a senior advisory function to serve its most strategic corporate accounts. The Practice Innovation Advisor is a client-facing role at the intersection of AI strategy, technology transformation, and in-house professional services. The advisor works with senior department leaders to assess how AI may change legal, tax, and compliance functions, and supports the full client lifecycle from pre-sale through post-sale. The role focuses on executive relationships and strategic counsel rather than product demonstrations or adoption metrics. The advisor serves as a senior executive partner to a portfolio of strategic corporate accounts, working alongside account teams and collaborating with product and other client-facing functions. The role also brings executive-level customer insight to Thomson Reuters product and business leaders and represents the company at senior industry and client events. The position has no sales quota, though its relationships can influence retention and growth.

  • Grounded perspective on how AI affects in-house legal and tax staffing, vendor strategy, compliance obligations, and service delivery, developed through direct experience.
  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters products such as CoCounsel, Practical Law, Westlaw, and HighQ, and how they fit into an enterprise technology environment.
  • Ability to engage credibly with department leadership without a commercial agenda; the role does not carry a quota.
