About The Position

TRC, Member of WSP, is seeking motivated and diverse Power Distribution Interns for its Summer 2027 internship program. This paid, full-time position is based in the Carrollton, Georgia office, with an anticipated duration from June through August 2027; dates are flexible. Interns work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. The position may lead to a full-time role upon graduation.

Applicants are automatically considered for Summer Internship Program openings in more than 150 U.S. locations. The hourly salary range is $20 to $28, depending on experience, education, skills, location, and other compensable factors. An annual discretionary bonus may also be available, contingent on company, business segment, and individual performance. Interns and trainees receive benefits in accordance with the laws of their state or country of residence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Honest, fun, hard-working, and ready to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design utility poles for clients.
• Use gathered field notes and refer to client documentation for construction standards.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
