About The Position

Castle of Downers Grove is hiring a full-time Porter. This role helps maintain vehicle inventory and dealership lot standards, supports vehicle handling and delivery, and offers an opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour and is based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from the displayed amounts.

Requirements

• Ability to work assigned hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional attitude and ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confidence, an outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
• Experience working as a Porter at a dealership is asked about in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors and maintain inventory appearance and performance.
• Replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
• Make key tags and handle vehicle inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
