About The Position

The Pool & Beach Attendant is responsible for maintaining safe and clean aquatic recreational areas for residents and their guests. The position is outdoors in a beach and pool environment with moderate noise. Days and hours are determined by the property, and schedules may change to accommodate business needs. This is a non-exempt hourly position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Requirements

Prior experience in a related position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a busy, luxury, fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members in other departments.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Positive, can-do attitude, including during high-stress situations.
Ability to organize and prioritize and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including long periods of standing and walking and occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling items weighing 25 pounds or less.

Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up the pool and beach areas daily according to company and property standards.
Proactively enhance the beach area.
Welcome and greet residents and assist them with lounge covers, towels, umbrellas, and related items.
Maintain a guest (resident) [the description is incomplete].
Ensure proper use of amenities such as water, cold towels, ice buckets, and sunscreen.
Monitor compliance with Association Rules and Regulations.
Immediately report malfunctions or needed maintenance to the Supervisor.
Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain beach equipment.
Remove dirty towels and trash.
Maintain and organize the pool area, including furniture [the description is incomplete].
