About The Position

The Pool and Beach Attendant creates an outstanding guest experience in the hotel and restaurant pool areas by providing excellent customer service and developing and executing programming, events, and collaborations that appeal to hotel guests and local community members. The role helps shape the pool area's atmosphere through sensory-focused programs and by building relationships with musicians, artists, tastemakers, and other creative partners. The attendant works with the Guest Service Manager, supports property and public relations relationships, and communicates programming plans to property management and staff to help operations run efficiently.

Requirements

• One year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Skillful verbal and written communication.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.
• Creative spirit, motivation, and willingness to experiment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide fantastic customer service and create an outstanding experience at the pool.
• Source new and maintain existing networks of musicians, artists, tastemakers, and other creative partners.
• Develop programs for the senses, including sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
• Work with the Guest Service Manager on initiatives and support property and public relations relationships.
• Obtain prior approval for new vendor relationships.
• Attend property meetings regularly and communicate ongoing and upcoming programming and events to property management and staff.
• Build and execute initiatives, creative programming, events, and collaborations on or off the property.
